Description: This plugin exports/imports 3D/4D images to/from nifti type. A typical use is to use the plugin to export DTI images to nifti format and perform eddy current correction using FSL, and import the images back.
Open images with 2D or 4D viewer and run the plugin.
Export the images to nifti format using Save As Nifti, then perform desired operations using FSL, e.g. eddy current correction, and etc.
Use "Load Nifti" to load processed image back to the current view. Note: A opened image window is neccessary to load the images back. Since nifti file doesn't preserve all DICOM fields, but having an opened window as a template, all the DICOM fields will be preserved, such as DTI gradient encoding directions. If such information is not neccessary, another option would be to use DICOMToNifti Plugin
Save the loaded dataset to Osirix database using "Export to Database", series name and ID need to be set.
Download: Expand the archive Exporter.osirixplugin.zip and double-click the plugin icon (or put the plugin into your Library/Application Support/Osirix/Plugins folder.). It may be neccessary to restart Osirix.
